We are absolutely delighted to announce that Muse Escapes has been named a finalist at the Visit East Midlands Tourism Awards 2026/2027 for Derbyshire, in the Self Catering Accommodation of the Year category.
This is a very proud moment for our family-run business and a wonderful recognition of the hard work, passion and dedication that goes into creating memorable guest experiences at Foxlow Grange in Buxton.
A new chapter for Derbyshire’s tourism awards
This year the much-loved Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby Tourism Awards have become part of the new Visit East Midlands Tourism Awards, bringing Derbyshire’s best tourism businesses onto a bigger regional stage. Having been awarded Silver in the Self Catering Accommodation category last time, being shortlisted again means a great deal to all of us.
More than somewhere to stay
Since opening our doors in 2022, our vision has always been to offer more than simply somewhere to stay. We wanted to create a place where guests could relax, reconnect, celebrate and make lasting memories in the beautiful Peak District.
Already proud holders of the VisitEngland Five-Star Self-Catering Gold Award, being recognised among Derbyshire’s leading tourism businesses is another fantastic milestone in our journey.
Thank you
We’re incredibly grateful to our wonderful team, whose commitment makes everything possible, and to our guests for their continued support, recommendations and lovely reviews.
We are honoured to be shortlisted alongside fellow finalists Raven House Farm and Derbyshire Staycations, and we wish them the very best of luck.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in March 2027. Until then, we’re keeping everything crossed!
Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey.
Laura, James and the Muse Escapes Team
